I have the Sims 2 Double Deluxe game, and also the Sims 2 University, and I plan on purchasing more of the expansion packs. I do know there are not many Laptops that can accommodate gaming. But I plan on buying a Laptop just for the use of it to play Sims.
Can anyone help me?
Please??
– Also, if anyone might know how to transfer Custom Content (for the game) from one computer to another? Would I use a disk? If so, what type of disk?

I’ve just graduated with a BSc Computing, calss 2:1 and have no idea what my expected salary should be.
I don’t want to end up getting paid less than I’m worth, and i don’t want to be too pushy and say something ridiculously high.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks

I recently upgraded my little AspireOne to Windows 7 RC and I can’t find the icon for my webcam in “My Computer”. It is listed in the Devices folder but will not open for pictures. I tried to install the XP driver from Acer’s website but it is not compatible. I tried to use Windows Picture Gallery to take a picture with it but the program doesn’t see my webcam. What are my options?

I’m using a Dell 640m Laptop. These are its properties: Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz 980MHz, 0.99GB of RAM. Its too slow and I want to upgrade it. My hard disk space at the moment is only 40GB and I want to upgrade it to at least 80 or more. What is the recommended upgrade for this Laptop? Do I need to change the motherboard if I upgrade the RAM and Hard disk space? Is it compatible?

For a few years now, I’ve had a padlock on my computer that I’ve kept locked at nights and I regularly wash the internet cables with Lysol. But people have told me that you constantly need to upgrade your security solutions, so can you offer me any advice?

I just installed Windows Vista Business recently and I need Vista drivers for my ATI Radeon 7500. Does anyone have any ideas where I can download one? Some people say the ATI Radeon 9000 driver will work, but I don’t know where to download that for Vista either.

I have a linksys router connected to a desktop computer through an ethernet cable and my Laptop connects to the router wirelessly. I am trying to figure out how to set it up so I can use the printer that is connected to the desktop through my Laptop. I know you need to set up a network on the desktop and connect to it through the Laptop, but I can’t figure it out. I have an emachines computer and a Toshiba vista Laptop.

I mainly use my computer for playing rpg and fps games but lately I’ve been getting alot of computer stuttering (stops like every 7 seconds) and a low rate of frames per second.
I have a dell inspiron 5100-
Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz, 2.66GHz, 512mb of RAM.
I’ve run defrags, error checked, deleted everything I can but I still get bad performance…
I don’t know a whole lot about computer hardware, should I upgrade my RAM from 512mb? Should I go for a new processor? Or is there something else I can do?
