Every time i turn on my Laptop it shows windows xp and dosent start.
P.S My Laptop does not start.

My desktop computer is HP Pavilion a6050y and I have the recovery discs that I make by myself in order to reinstall windows vista but now I wish to install windows xp but I don’t know now how to remove windows vista from portion C only in order to install windows xp without having the necessary Cd’s to install each of display card and wireless LAN card and motherboard card and sound card.

now i have win 2k but it always creates problem. like Dll error, registry demaged etc.etc. so plz help me to find downloading link for win xp for free.

in device manager these all have yellow ? by them..Multimeadia Audio Controller+Video Controller+Video Controller(VGA Compatable) & SM Bus Controller.Cannot find them on xp disk or anywhere on web..Using Creative I-TRIGUE 3200 speakers,(2small + boom box)which Creative say don`t need drivers..Can anyone tell me how to locate the above controllers please.

I had installed vista transformation pack for xp.After few days I uninstalled it.After that when I restarted system,everything was good but on reaching the log on screen ,a message came that-System was unable to find the Uxtheme.dll.”

Now after log on ,only my desktop comes and ther is no any other thing ,not at all,not even the start tab or an icon .

if I have to shut down ,I have to open the task manager by ctrl+alt+del.

If nothing is there in desktop ,how would I install that dll file .
Will I install xp again(which i cant)

i format and reinstall os but i dont know which drivers should i install again pls help me how to recognize my drivers

I have two Win-XP computers on a network with File Sharing set without password/user. One computer can be accessed, the other says: “Logon Failure: the user has not been granted…” I tried to check the Security Policy settings but it’s not in the Admin. Tools folder…(On either computer!).
