Having troubles installing WIN XP?

win xp drivers

It’s done this on 2 of my compaqs, and one of my gateways. The hard drives are wiped clean, so no OS or drivers on them currently. I boot from the CD, format or leave file system, and it gets partway through the install, and I get the XP BSOD (blue screen of death) saying something went wrong, try restarting, or try safe mode (which of course isn’t possible). PLEASE HELP ME!
I have tried multiple installs, and have sucessfully installed on other computers. The compat issue may be valid, I did get win 98 SE to run on the gateway about a year back. Please, give me more ideas!

there may be a compatibility issue with the computer you are trying to install it to. If they are too old try Win98 then upgrade.

did the win xp cd come with ur computers or is it burned? Maybe the cd is missing some files if so try burning another copy. If the cd came with the package from your computer then im not sure.

    Hi!!!
it is nothing but the BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death), dont worry for nothing….. just do the format and reinstall it again but before re-installing just check all the peripherals connected correctly to the computer.

    bye.

try borrowing a windows cd from a friend, or relative. maybe your cd is damaged or scratched. it isn’t illegal to install another person’s cd as long as you’ll use your own serial key.
