Ok, I recently brought a dell computer, it came with Windows Vista, which I hate. So I decided to downgrade to Win Xp Pro. The dell computer has a 250 GB hard drive. When the computer came, there were 2 partition, one for 240 GB that has vista on it and a 10 gb one with the recovery stuff on it.
When I start the installation, I decided to delete the partition that windows vista partition, so I can install Win XP and delete Vista. Well once I did that and tried to create a partition in the Win XP installation, the max size of a partition I can create is 117 GB. So 117 GB + the 10 GB of recovery data does not equal to 250 GB… anyone have any suggestion on how I can recover that 100 GB?
Vista annoys me.. i use it at work.. half of the programs i want to use doesn’t work on vista
Yeah I am trying to avoid calling dell, since their outsourced customer service sucks…….

My connection to the internet is by a DSL/cable connection.I networked my PC to the other PC by connecting both on a LAN hub together with the internet line.I modified the TC/IP properties and the two PC can now access both shared folders. But PC2 cannot access the internet, but my PC can browse the web. (Take note, PC1 is using a built LAN adapter,NVIDIA nForce Networking Adapter & PC2 is also using a built in LAN adapter,REALTEK RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter.) What seems to be the problem? Is there any conflict on the hardware? Please help me to work out the Internet Connection Sharing for both computer. Both operating system is in Windows XP Pro SP2. thnks guys!
For clarity purpose, I make modifications on TC/IP settings on PC2 and now both PC can access shared folders, meaning they are networked to each other. On PC1 I don’t make modifications on TC/IP settings because its setting is automatically setted by DHCP.
