I have Windows Vista and I get an error message when I try to install it saying I need Windows XP. It won’t let me install it. I’ve gone to Nortons website and couldn’t find anything to help with this problem. They have virtually no customer support. I’m thinking maybe I should just take the software back and buy something else. Any suggestions?

I bought a Win XP SP3 yesterday and installed in my pc. All drivers were installed smoothly but when I began installing softwres like Office 07 and Autocad, it takes forever to finish. Any recommendations? PC is 2.66 Core2Duo, 4gb Ram, 320 GB HDD

i have installed XP drivers for my keyboard in windows vista, now, vista won’t respond to any keystrokes, the Num Lock button also doesn’t work, how can i revert back to the previous settings?

i have tries to reboot with no keyboard, but it didn’t solve the issue….
the only problem is that i have set a password for login…. so now what do i do

I have an ATI Mobility x1400 in my Inspiron E1705 from Dell. I have recently reinstalled Windows XP, and my a video I had saved on my Flash Drive now only plays in weird rainbow colors. I installed the drivers for everything from Dell, but it still won’t play right. Can I get new/better drivers, or is my video card messed up?
no…the article doesn’t pertain to me…the name is just an inside joke between my friends and I at my high school…that’s really weird though.

My PC was connected to a TV cable modem. Connection worked for one day then only when it wants, same on another PC. The provider (demand the IP set to automatic) changed the modem but it worked same way.
On another PC, I copied IP\DNS…of automatic connection then set them manually and it works too at any time. My PC don’t connect neither way nor on another provider (switch) but worked 1y ago in a LAN on switch+router.
I changed UTP cable, LAN card (2types), PCI connector, use one or more LAN at a time, reinstall driver for LAN\MoBo, Retried Every Time(auto, manual, netsh int ip [winsock] reset..). I reinstall windows choosing new install on same windows folder but haven’t delete Program Files, My Documents…reTried aLL previous. Same result : 0 packets received, “Limited or no connectivity” and IP 169.254.., Subnet 255.255.0.0, no Gate\DNS. Remains BIOS (F2, F7 and F11 worked last 2y) or MoBo(GA-7N400-L) failure but why died slowly 2times? Or Win Connection Wizard? (tried some) HELP pls
