MY cd-rom is jamming. I can’t get into the tray to put in a cd and play music. The PC keeps askilng for the file: F:\enuk\drivers\win2k_xp whenever it is turned on. I did a test on my PC and the results were that my Lucent Win Modem failed. It asked for me to to put in the start up cd in it but, my husband put the PC together and he nor I can find the cd. I tried to find one on the internet to download but couldn’t.

My modem keeps freezing and at all times of the night the pc makes strange noises. I think that someone is trying to get into the computer, but my husband doesn’t. He thinks we have a virus. We have a virus scan on our PC.

The Sony Vaio recovery disc contains all Sony software + Windows XP installation files. Sony Web pages never show any support for this problem. Is there any way to reinstall a corrupt Windows XP, without installing the rest of other softwares?

The day norton internet security 07 expired and norton 08 kicked in. the problem started.Problems can’nt maximize whithout computer freezing up to a slow craw. program not responding, message.( win xp home) anybody else have this problem what’s the fix

I have the Intel 82830 graphics driver i,me using Windows XP Pro. have all system requirements goes blacck an,but when i play the demo the screend system freezes.

im running mcafee at present along with the norm windows xp firewall and virus protection program so not sure if the routers firewall will make any difference or cause some sort of conflict can any1 help

I finally got around to updating my IBM Think pad to Win XP SP2 and now I can’t boot up at all. I can’t get it to go back to an old configuration or boot into Safe mode. The stupid system did not come with a Recovery disk so I’m at a loss. IBM or now Leveno is no help at all. I’m using a “loaner” pc to ask this question.
The error code is “C000135″ cant find winsrv- what ever that is.

I did not have a win Xp SP2 cd. I installed by downloading update over the internet.
