I have a Powercolor HD3850 AGP with the latest drivers and win xp pro sp3. Am using rivatuner to overclock, here is my latest info what i have done.
my core is 669mhz
memory 829mhz gDDR3
those are the default speeds.
i have OC at
core 700mhz
memory 869mhz
i hope to go to core 719mhz and memory 889mhz.
For some reason my system crashes when I go to clean the registry. I’ve used many different reg cleaners and all seem to have the same problem happening. The program will scan the registry, a whole mess of errors with start showing up, then it seems like it gets to a certain part of the registry and then the computer just shuts down and restarts itself.
This certainly can’t be normal or good. Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this problem is much appreciated…

After the installation I tried to locate previous documents and I can’t find them. Does everything get wiped out during the process?

I have to skip 2dll files i have noted thm down n I also got those dll files they r ‘wmnetmgr.dll’ n ‘wmv.dll’ can u pls tell me where i can install thm?
I mean where i must copy those files 2 which folder?
Not sure if a new OS from retail will allow me to format and load the new OS and erase any old security login stuff… Are there different OS S/W for Laptop vs. Descktop?
