I use a new Nokia 6030. The company customer care says it cannot be connected with my PC with a data cable. But it has a jack to connect to the Nokia care computers to ‘flush’ the phone software in case of any problems. Pl tell me if I can get a data cable that will fit this jack and if I can connect my cell with it to my Windows XP Professional PC? Also, which version of Nokia PC suite will go with my phone software? Pl inbox ur reply.Thnx in advance.
I’m sure this question has been posed dozens of times, in a variety of ways. But I am after some sound clarification.
Here’s my situation – I am debating whether or not to buy a PC online with these specs: AMD Phenom-8400 (T) 2.1 GHz (95W), 4 GB DDR2 Memory, and 500 GB SATA 7200 HD. I will use this PC solely as a digital audio workstation which presents the problem…. not all of my software applications are Vista compatible.
Is there any way to completely reformat the HD and install Windows XP?
I’ve read of some issues with drivers and backward compatibility. Is it that newer PC’s that were never shipped with Win XP cannot accommodate the OS at all?
I’ve also read that it may be possible if I use tell the BIOS to boot from drive when using a Win XP boot disk. Is there any validity to this idea?
HP’s website says that it does not have Windows XP drivers for this model PC (HP Pavilion a6457c). Is there any way to work around this?
Some call it a Downgrade, others call it a Write-over. I just want to be able to use Win XP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
