The game crashes right after running it. It’s there any patch or something. The game runs ok on Windows 98 but on XP crashes. I`m not interested in news about other NBA Live titles. I like this game.
I have Windows Vista preloaded on my computer, then I set up a dual boot between Vista and Windows XP Professional. Now I have Windows XP Gamer Edition and I want to install that too, but I read somewhere that it is “unadvised.”
If I install it then add it to my EasyBCD Vista Bootloader will something bad happen? If so then what, and what can I do to avoid it?
Thanks in advance.
I did a complete reinstall of windows xp on my dell dimension 2400 and now when I try to reconfig my internet settings it’s telling me I need to install a network interface/internet card. I know I must already have this b/c the internet worked just fine before I did the reinstall. What do I need to do to fix this? Do I need to go somewhere and download a driver or something? If so how do I do this from another computer and get it on the comp. I need it on? Somebody please help. This is very frustrating!!!
I bought a sound card recently. I install it and it runs just fine. But once i dial my dial up. My comp crashes usually saying the HSF driver that messed up. And i do believe that HSF has to deal with modems. SO i don’t know. I wouldn’t think that my OS would make much difference. Its a 3 year old computer FYI of why it don’t have XP SP2. I wondering if i have to disable my mobo sound first. or what… Any help please? And the sound card is Sound Blaster Audigy SE…

I recently bought battlefield 2 and i installed it on my uncles windows xp. the installation went fine, he has the right specs, but when i double click on the battlefield 2 icon the window thing that says “battlefield 2″ pops up, it stays there for a while and then it dissapears, then the screen goes black as if the game were starting up, but then the screen goes back to my desktop and nothing happens. i have tried this with every disk….

i have a new bluetooth enabled logitech V270 coordless mouse. my Notebook came with bluetooth hardware installed, however there is no device drivers. i have downloaded device drivers and none of them seem to work. it asks me to “plug the device into the computer,” which is totally wrong because it is a wireless mouse w/o an adapter or docking station. I need help!!! Is there some kind of driver i can get that actually works…?
I have been having reoccurring problems with my internet ever since I upgraded my computer. Previously on my old system I had no problems. I am using the exact same O/S (Win XP), same equipment (Linksys Wireless-G WUSB54GS Ver 2.1), same place in the flat. It seems to be a problem with initialising a connection. Sometimes my browser will take upwards of a minute to start loading a page. Other times it may not even attempt to load it at all. Logging into games such as WoW, which used to be instantaneous, now take noticeably longer. Strangely my connection speed seems to be unaffected, with my downloads still as fast as before. Of course I would like to get this other problem sorted as it makes browsing a tedious and random affair.
We have a Netgear Sky Broadband Router for the record, using a WPK key and the basic out-of-the-box specifications.
Upgrades were;
- New motherboard (GA-965P-DS3)
- New RAM
- New CPU (Core Duo 2.22Ghz give or take)
- New HD (SATA2 240Gb)
The router itself was working before and other people in the flat can connect without problems, so it’s obviously a problem on my end.
