Hi I have a sony Vaio 197XP
I bought a 20″ dell screen with a resolution of 1680*1050.

The problem I am having is that in Control panels display tab, it is allowing me to go: 1280* 768, 1280*1024, 1600*1200, and 1920 by 1200. It even has the right driver installed: DELL E207WFP

I have quite a powerful computer… and i have updated, the bios and display settings. Please let me know if there is anyone out there that knows what to do…

Alright…so I get hl2, and it doesn’t work. I know it’s a driver problem, but I’m not going to go into that…anyways, in frustration, I used a registry cleaner, but it ****ed everything up. Now I’m missing over 40 WINDOWS drivers. Not just normal ones. Ok, so I *acquired* an xp disc, but I am wondering if anyone had any easy solution to overwrite all of my previous drivers. Does anyone know a way?

Hello. My current installation of Windows has become overbogged with files scattered around in so many different folders that I can’t attempt to clean it up. Where is the cheapest online store to buy Windows XP from? I’d be looking at below $30 .. I mean, it’s considered “old” software now.

Also, can I use it on my two computers? Or would I need to buy two licenses, or some crap like that?

The volume page keeps saying that there is no audio device even though other pages say that the device is working properly.
