You can buy a new hard drive… if you’re talking about unpartitioned space you can reinstall windows and delete your old partition to create a new one using all the space on your current hard drive. I’m not sure if you can add unpartitioned space to an already partitioned drive.

    . Navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
    2. Find ProgramFilesDir whose default should be C:\Program Files
    3. Change this to whatever directory you wish. I changed it to D:\Program Files for example.

Remember you have to reboot for your changes to show.

If u r having one more partitions. U can install the softwares in the next free partitions.

I think all the software will promt for installation location. U can change the installation location.

    Eg. c:\ to d:\

Click on “Start” —>> Run and type in regedit ENTER
    go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\…
and look for the ProgramFilesDir whose default should be C:\Program Files
Change this to a directory on your other partition (for example: D:\Program Files)
restart your computer and you are ready to go!

Well you can do it case by case when installing programs there is almost always a “browse” button to look for another installation location. Just select the new harddrive and the folder you want to install into. (If your real geeky you can hack your registry to change the destination of any folder in windows. For example I have My Documents and my Program files set to seperate harddrives of their own) But please bewarned changing the registry values can crash your computer so dont try it unless you feel confident and Always backup your registry keys before making any changes.

    Hope this helps
