I have a Benq DC E300 digital camera, and it work on Win XP without driver, but without the camera options. so i cand adjust colors or brightness or contrast. so the picture is almost black.
The driver the company posted on thier Website is useless.
Anyone can help me find its XP driver, or tell me if there is like a software can help me adjust its options??

I am using widows xp professional sp2. I forgot my administrator password. I dont want to reinstall my windows again. How can i reset my admininstartor password?

My headphones which worked last night no longer output any sound. My sound software detects that I’ve plugged the headphones into the jack but when I play a song I don’t hear anything. Here are the things I’ve already tried to fix it. Any further suggestions would be very much appreciated.

-checked volume settings
-checked that all drivers are up to date and windows certified
-checked that sound devices are all enabled and working in device manager
-checked that there are no hardware conflicts in device manager

I had an older computer around that used to have win. 2000 on it I decided to get running again. I am trying to install XP on it and after I format the partion and it reboots to boot from the HD I get a error msg saying “could not open Drive…,…,…partion1. So I put the drive in my newest computer and tried. worked fine got all the way the way through the installtion. stuck it back in the old comp with the operating system already on it and still go the same msg.It boots right up with 2000, but i don’t want 2000. what is the problem? Do i need to update the mobo bios?

Hi I have just downgraded my Laptop from Vista to Xp….but my problem is that I am not getting the drivers for Win XP V3239TU version….please can anybody help me

The short version: I have an IDE Western Digital internal drive running as a slave on Cable Select jumper setting (have tried force slave with same result) – BIOS detects the drive correctly, and Windows detects the drive and even loads the correct driver (double checked device manager – it’s there) but when I go to My Computer, the drive is not there.

How do I get it to mount under My Computer?

More details: This is happening on two hard drives (exact same problem) – both came out of a computer that was recently formatted and had XP re-installed on it. It was literally working one day then the next day it was blue screen “non-mountable boot drive” errors.

All I want is the data off the drives as I now have a new EIDE hard drive.

Suggestions?

i just installed windows xp pro and i installed the BIOS and Audio drivers but i still don’t get a standby option. the standby option is grayed out, and there is nothing about it in the power options. i am using a dell inspiron 1000. hope someone can help. Thanks You in advance.
