I recently purchased an iPod video 30gb and it didn’t work when I plugged it into the computer. I called apple and the tech guy told me I need to find a driver that’s missing in my computer for usb mass storage devices. Where can I find this driver? What is it called?

Ok, all I want to do is install a second video card so I can have dual monitor support for my computer. I won’t be doing any major gaming or anything that would require too big of a video card for my computer.
My computer is a HP Pavilion m7570n. It is running Windows XP Media Center Edition. It does have a card for TV tuner support.
Here is the video card I am looking at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102735
While doing some research, I’ve heard that installing a second video card can disable the integrated one.
Anyway, will this work for me to get dual-monitor support and not have conflicts with other hardware?
The card I am looking at has a VGA, DVI, and S-Video out ports. There also appears to be an adapter to convert DVI to VGA.

I just got a computer from a friend that had a corrupted version of windows xp. I tried uninstalling it through the command prompts but it says it wont work. I tried installing linux but after the boot screen it comes up with all these error messages. Im not planning on partitioning my hard drives. Does anyone know if you have to uninstall windows to make linux work right?
