    holy crap…
I am trying to share with you there is a 16-bit system for the BIOS and other functions of which windows needs to run higher functions, like a print. I say “DOS” because it’s a 16-bit format
    DOS IS/WAS a 16-bit operating system.
did MS exorbitantly develop a brand NEW 16-bit system? Checkout the commands
    they’re DOS in a string.
have you ever used DOS? would you know it if you saw it?
’scuse me for using “DOS” as a cliche

They are not the same!!! You lose shithole!!

  7. uturniaphobic - March 11th, 2008 at 2:56 PM

not wanting to be snide and it does type that way, in reading my post but please:
No offense intended. I guess its not referred to a DOS anymore. Rather its now the 16-bit windows subsystem.
Not sure if we arent just defining things differently
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.
    is the “batch” file normally.
autexec.bat is for DOS mode I think

“yes you can”, almost like “yes we can” from Obamas campaign.. hmm

  9. uturniaphobic - March 16th, 2008 at 4:36 AM

why am I an ass? because I don’t drool over XP?
look get into the amount of clock cycles it takes to pump a 32-bit command throught the MPs register then we’ll talk
    FAT32 NTSwhatever are the same

  10. chocolate45689 - March 17th, 2008 at 8:39 AM

    The best operating system!

  11. ComputerKid117 - March 20th, 2008 at 9:23 AM

no text, i can delete that file, and nothing would happen. ITS NT, STOP BEING AN ASSHOLE. XP RUNS NTFS, DOS CANNOT.

  12. uturniaphobic - March 23rd, 2008 at 4:43 AM

wanna talk about the BOOT SEQUENCE?
check your autexec.bat file sometime, good ol’ DOS
    it’s spagettified

  13. uturniaphobic - March 23rd, 2008 at 5:34 AM

    yikes!
agreed though. it’s not a true 32-bit register though
    it’s DOSsquared

  14. ComputerKid117 - March 25th, 2008 at 11:11 AM

XP is not DOS, its NT technology. Win2k ended DOS, so don’t be stupid.

  15. uturniaphobic - March 26th, 2008 at 8:51 PM

XP is a program that runs in the DOS environment
I use it, it’s ok, a bit bloated and VERY hackable but it’s ok. DirectX has some stellar graphics IMS

xps way better than any of macs operating systems
windows has been around longer and is way faster and doesnt crash as much as all macs do

  17. AzaIndustries - March 29th, 2008 at 11:37 PM

lol, Omg, WTF, Holy Shit! Your not serious are you? XP is the best non-freeware OS there is and shall be for a while till they release windows 7 or the one after that if 7 turns out to be as shit as Vista. I think you either need to learn how to operate a computer or Get a better computer. Or you could by a Mac and leave the smart people to the PCs

Best operating system ever invented, no matter what comes in the future, what marvels of software engineering anyone makes, this was the first piece of software that lead the way to the 21st century and possibly the most innovative piece of computer technology to hit the market in all of computer history.
