I recently purchased a computer from dell with windows vista installed. Well it completely sucks and I hate it. I bought a windows XP disk, so what do I have to do to install it? Or can I?

My grandmother has a gateway windows XP computer and some how everything got deleted, all files, hard drives, and everything. We want to download windows xp off of my computer onto a disk and install it onto hers. How do I do this? I have blank disk and stuff, I just need somewhere on the internet I can download windows xp for her computer. Please Help!

recently i got a trojan horse on my computer, i went to this website because i have norton internet security and it took me to this website, http://www.symantec.com/enterprise/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2004-021914-2822-99&tabid=3 i did steps 1-3. on the system registry, i dont know what files correspond to the ones detected during the scan. and some of those subkeys arent in my computer.then in step 5, it asks you to edit the win.ini and system.ini files, how do i do that, it doesnt show me how to run it in win xp, does any1 know how. and can any1 help me on removing this virus.

I am looking for the Windows XP Driver for the Cisco VT Advantage Webcam. I have tried everywhere. If someone has one of these and has the driver, please help! the camera is basicly a rebranded Logitec Qquickcam Pro, but the logitec drivers won’t work. If anyone can help, please post a reply!

I have win vista pre-installed in drive C and I want to install win xp in another new partition. I know that older OS should be installed first, but I can’t do that now because I have saved games in my win Vista.

I have toe Windows XP 2002 Home edition and want to upgrade it to Professional. However, the upgrade is 64-Bit and the home is the 32-Bit, I think. Is there a way I can download drivers for the 32-bit XP Home that will make it possible for me to upgrade to XP Pro 64-Bit?
