xp drivers presario f500?

i baught a compaq presario f500 from staples. i tried several drivers even the ones off compaq website but it won’t work. i have 6150 go graphics and i don’t know the soundcard and i need help.

   First, I would try taking it back to Staples and having them fix it. If you have done some mods on your own, and they won’t support it, all I could really suggest would be to Google the graphics and sound cards to see if you can find th drivers. You should be able to determine what sound card you have by going into ‘Control Panel > System > Device Manager’ and expanding the ‘Sounds’, or ‘Audio/Visual/ section, and looking for the soundcard name. You could also try going out to Windows Update - often times it will detect if you are missing a driver, and install it automatically for you. Good luck.
