I have a computer where it is split to 2 primary hard drives. the second hard drive contains all the windows installation files and drivers. i want to format my computer and install a fresh copy of win xp. however, my computer never came with any win xp cds buy only the bootable hard disk drive. My question is, how to boot from the hard disk to format the computer and then to reinstall a fresh copy of win xp? please help its very urgent

I have a printer and to install this printer I have to have service pack 2 instead of the 3 I currently have for my win xp microsoft office 2003. can i run win 98/98 SE drivers on XP if i have installed it with a Fat32 file system? If not is there and emulator or partch out there i can use to run 98 drivers? if it helps i know they dont make XP drivers for the device… wich is a discontinued 24bit lexicon core2 studio soundcard with optical interface.. better sound quality than any cd player so it isnt obsolete.. just no drivers without running pain in the ass 98

I need a little step by step. The Windows XP crashes upon start. I have made a Ubuntu boot disc. What steps do I need to take to erase the Windows and boot with ubuntu. It won’t boot on its own. I even set the bios to start from the CD rom (iomega zip 650). OR is there any way to repair XP without paying Microsoft a ton of money. Personally, I just want to escape to DOS, delete windows altogether and boot from the CD if I can. But I can’t get past the ‘dead’ Windows XP.

Ok the problem with my pc is that!

I have 2 Windows XP professionals and 1 is not working beacuse some important dll has been deleted and it does not go ahead from the welcome screen!

I want to remove this using this operating system of Windows XP!

I just bought an acer 4310 Laptop with linpus linux installed as os. I want to replace it with windows xp. i deleted the linux partition and deleted the grub (bootloader). After that, I installed windows xp, but it showed error. can somebody help me? thanks!

in the device manager it says my vidio conttroler driver is missing and in display propertys when i click adapter it dont show the make of graphics adapter ive tryed ati and nvidia whith no joy can anyone help me please ive been at it 4 3hours trying to find the driverdown load and just about to throw the towel in first person to give me a link to the driver will get the best anser and the points and a big big thank you
