I currently use Win XP Pro 32bit and am not interested in going to Vista. All I do on this PC is play games. I already own media and license for Win XP Pro 64 Bit and my computer and all of my hardware has drivers and supports 64 Bit OS but would I really see any benifits?

I am running Win XP OS. When I attempt to connect to play internet spades (shvlzm.exe) via Start/Programs/Game/Internet Spades–using security-enabled wireless network, I am unable to connect. If I am successful connecting if I do so through an unsecured network. Any ideas how to resolve the problem so that I can connect through the security enabled wireless network?
Check what settings?

I have to solve problems that need a lot of calculations on random sampling (Monte Carlo). As Windows Vista has a lot more overhead just to take care of itself, managing its own memory etc. , maybe it’s better to run Win XP. However I wonder if Win XP can handle Dual Core processors, be they from AMD or Intel. Thanks!
Why my Windows XP always do DISKCHECKING on startup?how to stop or change Diskchecking to 30minutes?
