When i try to Downgrade from windows Vista to XP, when im on the XP SP2 it crashes while loading the setup?

I put in the XP SP2 and then it says press any key to continue, i do so, then it loads the setup and Crashes, i do not know what is wrong it is making me verry mad. PLEASE HELP!!

   Ok,You should get an explanation of the reason for the failure.
   Try it again and make a note of the error message and post it here.It would be very rare for a setup to just stop without giving you a “setup has encountered an error and cannot continue because”message.
