Before the desktop, there is a picture of the previous owner of my computer on the splash screen as windows xp starts loading. I want to get rid of it but I don’t know how. Help

I have a Windows XP computer and I’m planning to buy a Windows Vista Laptop. I’m afraid the two might have incompatibility issues when transferring files and documents between the two.

I’m running leopard on my mac book pro and im trying to get bootcamp to load up windows xp and after the 1st installation it crashes and wont boot but my mac will load not windows can n e one help

i have hp laserjet 1320n LAN printer in my network all pc running win 2k print well while pc running xp dont print but they can ping the printer i have reinstall the driver too.

I have one upgrade copy of Windows XP at home and three systems. I loaded it on one and activated it. I was wondering if I would be able to load and activate on the two other systems or will I have to purchase two more upgrades? If this is the case then this activation requirement by Microsoft really stuck it to the consumer this time.

I have updated my xp windows with autopatcher software.
After successful updatation of windows I found one built-in administrator in user settings though I have one administrator already. Now I have two administrators and I like to delete built-in administrator which created after updatation through autopatcher.
Kindly solve the problem.

I deleted the assessories and utilities under the add and remove components (didn’t mean too) and now I can’t load them back cause I don’t have a windows xp with service pack 2. How can I get it all back?

I’ve just installed the official Zune theme for Windows XP, but I don’t like the wallpaper that came with it. What are some wallpapers you would recommend that you think matches the zune theme? Please give me the links.
