Hi folks,
I got Dell #1505 Laptop and have my windows corrupted. I got the Windows XP pro SP2 reinstallation CD from Dell(Only one CD). There’s no separate Device Driver CD from Dell. Can I go ahead format my C:\ drive and reinstall Win Xp Pro from Dell reinstall CD? If I can do like this then what about the drivers? Do anyone of you have any experience in doing so?
Thanks
Surya

I own a Dell inspiron Laptop, and I want to erase Win Vi$sta and install XP instead. But the hard disk is SATA, and the required driver is not available in the XP setup disk. Thus when following the F6 install procedure, the installation program asks for the driver in a FDD. This machine does not have a FDD unit.
What do I do?

I have a lot of old games and I find a lot of problems with installing them on Windows XP. With some of them I’ve managed to do it, but you need to know certain tricks. Also, does anyone know if I could put a second OS on my system?

My iPod will crash my win xp computer, giving the blue screen of death with the following error message: “DRIVER_CORRUPTED_MMPOOL”. I had erased the iPod earlier via a friend’s apple computer (I wish Bill Gates was listening) and put back all my songs from my computer on to the iPod. But shortly after that things started again like before. I’m at a loss of what to do short of wiping out my win xp partition and reinstalling win xp. Taking out itunes doesn’t seem to have any effect on stopping the crashes.
