I just installed Win XP 64-bit onto my new system. It containsa Geforce 8800 GTS PCIE video card. There is two DVI ports on the back to allow me to view 2 displays however i would like to have 3 displays.
I plugged in my 3DFX Voodoo3 PCI card expecting XP/64 to recognize it but it doesnt (it attempts to use Standard VGA but still fails to start it). I’m guessing it has to do with having a 64-bit driver rather than the new hardware setup. The videocard worked in my old XP/32-bit box.
Anyone knwo where to get a display driver that will work with this video card?
I do development work and so am interested in messing around with it., Besides, my new box has 4GB DDR RAM within it I think with XP-32 bit im limited to 3GB?
My sister deleted one of the two administrator accounts that we have on windows xp professional. Since the files are encrypted is it possible for me to take ownership of these files or can i recover them any other way?

Now i just got this system back up and running yesterday with a fresh install on a new HD. Got all my updates and AVG going.
Then today, when i got back from an errand, the system had frozen.
The display is fine, can see and read all my data currently open, however, the mouse cursor doesn’t respond to my movement, and no keyboard shortcuts work.
I know the keyboard is receiving power, its a Logitech G-15 and the backlit keys are glowing.
Nothing happens unless i reboot the machine.
WinXP Home v2002 SP3
3GHz, 2GB RAM
No. CTRL+ALT+DEL does not work. As i said, the keyboard is unresponsive to any shortcuts.
I have win xp operating system which hardly lasts long for 3 days or so because of some unknown reasons(At least for me). I have to reload the operating system from the xp cd which really takes a lot of time .I have seen that Win vista can be repaired from its setup DVD for such problems(probs like WINDOWS/SYSTEM 32/CONFIG/SYSTEM corrupted) .Thats not the case in win xp.Is there any other alternative for quick retrieval oy my operating sustem so that I don’t have to reinstall my audio, video drivers and stuff like that?
