I am using Windows XP Home Edition and have two hard drives, 30GB and 80GB, in my computer. My system drive is the 30GB which I want to switch to the 80GB. Please advise how to switch my system drive and all the programs without reinstalling from the 30GB to the 80GB drive.

Wireless Lan adaptor? Isn’t my current security set up which I use when connecting with Lan cable enough? I have never had a virus, trojan or any spy ware with it. Do I need to configure it to specifically protect the USB Lan adaptor, because I only see options for that in my Firewall which has protected automatically.
Just looked at some previous answers, So do I need to look for WIFI protection?
Yes Dr. House you’re right I mean adapter.
I’m not plugged in with my cable, I’m away from home.
Thanks Anomy12345, I do have Zonealarm, AVG spybot, which I use and others installed but not in use. So from your answer I guess I’ll be OK.

Are there any known issues with connecting a standard USB cable into the bottom half ( the USB portion of PoweredUSB) port of a PoweredUSB port? We have a port replicator with a poweredusb port that went bad. the user reported that they tried to connect their mouse in this port and it did not work. Can this short out the poweredUSB port?
Is there any documentation that suggests that this is OK to do, or that it is specifically NOT SUGGESTED!?
Thanks!

My computer is acting very slow and sluggish so I would like to do a fresh formatting of the os. However, I dont have a windows xp cd that is normally used to do that type of task. Basically, I would like to know if there is a way to make the type of cd that would enable me to reformat my os.

so i bought a new LG 22 Monitor-L227WTG-PF and Monster DVI-D cable. i have windows xp service pack 3 with two 8600GT and SLI enable. i have the dvi cable in the same socket i used before with my old monitor only difference was, i used a vga cable. so now when it boots i see the bios flash screen and microsoft screen with blue sliding bar and right after that when i hear the windows boot sound, my monitor says Digital Power Savings and it turns off the signal. any clues as to what the problem is… after it fully boots and i unplug the cable from the back while the pc is on, and when i re-attach the cable i get the video signal. i even install the monitor drivers like the CD said too do. i tried both DVI- connections since the card is dual DVI, maybe i wasnt using the master connection. but that didnt work either. so as long as i leave pc on, or when i restart i have to get up and remove cable and re-attach just to get the video signal.. any clues.
max resolution my card support is 2000 something by something, my current resolution size is 1440×900
use the source button, it makes the light go to blue for like 10 secs, then turns back to orange and says again digital power savings mode
update. just used the VGA cable that came with monitor and success. it boots up fine without any problems…
