You would have to make sure first that you have a copy of Windows XP with a serial key so that you would be able to install it. You wouldn’t remove Vista per say, you would be reformatting your computer with a new installation of Windows XP on it.
You just put the CD in. If you have vista business you can downgrade free and upgrade back when your ready
First of all buy windows XP from a retailer that is selling it and follow the instructions in it. This will usually cost about 200 bucks
BTW I found the specs on that Laptop. Its current processor and memory is more then enough to handle vista even if vista is a memory hog.
you will ahve to reformat the hard drive.
if you have a windows xp home cd, put it in, then restart the pc and press any key.
follow the prompts on the screen to reistall it.
Its quite easy
you need to buy a copy of XP and format your hard drive and install the XP you purchased
here is a prime example of people answering questions that have not a freaking clue what they are talking about !!
simply using a xp disk is not going to be all your going to need !!
since your pc has vista on it , 99% chance the hard drive is sata !
have you checked to see if the hard drive has sata drivers , once that is done how about audio , video , chipset and other drivers
all this needs to be checked before you begin
