How to connect PS3 to Viewsonic Computer Monitor?
I just bought a HDMI-DVI cable to connect my PS3 to my Viewsonic VP181b monitor. It plugs in perfectly on both ends, the HDMI into the back of the PS3 and the DVI into the DVI port on the monitor. Now when i turn the monitor and the PS3 on, its seeming like perhaps the monitor senses the PS3 is connected but the screen is black with no display on it at all. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? It would help maybe if you looked over the following specs of this monitor:

I am running Windows XP Pro, and have downloaded a trial of Windows 7 (legally). I would like to know how to partition my hard drive, and install Windows 7 as a second operating system to try it out without losing my current data.

I am a fairly good computer user, but this is simply something I have never done before.

I need to reinstall my microsoft windows xp, but what should I do with the activation of the microsoft windows xp? I have sent previously the activation before the damage come. Now what should I do?

i have a desktop pc and a macbook pro, will i be able to install windows 7 home premium on them? how has multiple installations worked in the past for vista and xp?

On out Win2kPro network I can edit the start menu items on other PCs when I log on mine as administrator or run Window Explorer as administrator. (There’s a whole other trick to getting to run Explorer as administrator that I won’t go into here – suffice to say I can.)

On our WinXPPro network when I so much as rename a shortcut on another PC’s All Users menu it tells me access denied, and to make sure it’s not write protected or in use. It’s not write-protected, but someone is, of course, logged in on the PC.

Why is this a problem? Shouldn’t being logged in as administrator – with the same password – get me access?
I managed to get it working, actually. The share permissions did not include the administrator user. I added that and gave it the needed permissions and off she went.

This is on a lap top computer. All the others tabs, such as settings, etc. are fine and usable. Only the Desktop tab will not allow us to do anything. There was a picture on the background of the desktop and now we can only get one of three solid colors. Blue, Green etc.

i am looking for a device or how to make a device to connect the wireless receiver of my wireless mouse and keyboard (Microsoft 6000 desktop v.3)
to three different systems (my ps3, xbox360, and wii) i have seen switchers but I’m lazy and don’t want to have to switch back and forth a lot i play all three consoles several times a day so if you have any ideas please tell me i would appreciate your answers

I try to customize my desktop with a different or personal background and when I go to the control panel the options are there but it will not let me choose, they are not highlighted options. the different choices are there but the courser cant select them. what can this be because I remember changing it a long while ago.

I just got through updating to SP-2…maybe its that.

I just bought a web cam and my cd driver doesn’t work. Is there any website where I can dowload the drivers to install the camera?? Thanks!
