Can someone help with connecting the sidekick to the computer and finding it through the usb cord?

I have a sidekick lx but it’s the same way as with the other sidekicks. I am not sure how to find it once its connected through the usb cord?

   Most likely the New Drive/Device message will pop up. If not, simple go to my computer and it should be listed as a drive.
