Zune having trouble connecting with the USB port cable?

So I am trying to sync my Zune after the trouble it’s had the past few days.
But when I plug it into the usb cable it keeps connecting and disconnecting.
What should I do?

   i’ve had the same exact problem. eventually, my zune fried so i had to get a new one. as long as its under warrenty for system malfunctions, zune.net will replace it for free.
