Vista has a horrible public image, yet Windows 7 is getting mostly praised. Are they less similar than it seems?

Alright. I installed the windows 7 beta on a partition on my harddrive and was dualbooting it with my previous vista install. I eventually decided to get rid of vista completely. I reformated the vista drive and restarted my computer. The vista boot manager still comes up asking me whether I want to boot to vista or windows 7. How do i get rid of it?
Thanks

I am running vista and want to change the login screen to one like windows 7, only theres the vista logo. I tried using stardocks login studio, only the vista logo appears at the bottom of my page and looks rather bad offplaced to the windows seven logo. Does anyone know of how to remove it, or software that will cover that logo up as well as the background theme?

I try installing windows 7 i boot from the disc, and i start the setup. The first step of the setup says i dont have the correct CD/DVD Drivers. Is there anyway to skip this. I also have tried to load a driver on a Flash Drive, but then it wont let me locate the .exe, only folders. So i click on the folder the driver is found, and it says “no driver found. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. And i have already tried the disable unsigned drivers setting.

There are so many options. What to the professionals use ?
I would like to know which Code works the best for writing programs for Windows 7 and Vista.
But I am mostly interested in Windows 7.
Not interested in software that works online as much as Software Code that works on a stand alone Computer.

Right now I have vista. I am planning on downloading the windows 7 beta. What will happen when that beta expires??? I am expecting it to go right back to vista.
What happens? If it doesnt go back to vista, then what am I supposed to do. Vista came preinstalled on this computer, so I dont have the disk.
