Is there anyway in getting xp mode in win 7 to work without ‘hardware assisted virtualization’?

win 7

‘ve got a dell studio 17 and my processor hasn’t got it. I bought win 7 pro (instead of home premium) to use virtual pc and xp mode.. Isn’t there a work around.. i’m sure that it would still be able to run it without too many problems..

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

there is no work around. the virtualization in question is an extra instruction set hard coded into the processor… it simply can’t do any of the work requested without these instructions.
