The use of two 2GB RAM is possible, although not reccomended, as to the strain it would have on your machine running them.
The maximum GB of RAM that your motherboard could take depends on which type that you have.
Depending on what you decide, Windows 7 could be an option.

According to crucial you can’t go beyond 2gb total. See this page+%28rev.+6.6%29/list.html.
You can go to and they will directly test your motherboard and tell you the max that you can get.
2gb should be enough run Windows 7 and the rest of your configuration is fine.
u can upgrade ur RAM depending upon ur motherbord support.
u can also upgrade ur current version of OS to Win 7 from microsoft web.
First go to and scan your lap top to make sure it is compatible with Windows 7.
To check the RAM Memory modules your lap top now has, the maximum the system will support, the correct memory modules to us go to and run the two tools.
Looking at the spec.’s it should be upgradable to 4 GB of RAM Memory.
