This should help you out. You can find out at Microsoft:, better then I can explain it.

    1) go to control panel, Regional and Language Options, go to Languages, check the box Install files for East Asian Languages, click apply.

2)come back to control panel, Regional and Langauge Options, go to Languages, Details, Add

3)select Chinese (PRC), check the box Keyboard layout/IME choose Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0, click OK.

4)Click Apply. you might be prompted to insert the windows setup disc.

    5) after these, you should see a small EN icon on your task bar. click on the EN and you can change the default input language to Chinese PRC. that’s all.
