Windows 7 free upgrade disc- can i do clean install or use on different comp?

Hi all

Im owner of SONY Vaio Notebook Z series.

I bougt it 2 weeks ago with VISTA x64 and soon im getting free upgrade to Win 7 from sony!

Now my questions -

Can i do fresc/clean install of WIN7 or i can do only upgrade?

And, can i use this win 7 upgrade disc with other computer,(my desktop comp) ?

when i say about clean install i mean will Win 7 delete all Vista files ? . Do i need to format HD before instalation of Win 7 ?

Windows: i’ve a unknown brand mouse. Is there any general driver to program the wheel button of that mouse?

Anyway, the manfacturer doesn’t provide any driver.
I want the wheel to doubleclick, but that’s not an options with the default Windows mouse driver.

Can my Laptop upgrade from starter to home basic? Because I just want to upgrade features. And also, the three program restriction in starter is kind of annoying… I have borrowed a copy of genuine home basic from my friend. Can you give me some details to ensure that my attempt to upgrade will be successful?
