I have an HP pavilion dv6000.I got it just last year. Its a great pc but games created after 2000 BC tend to lag on it. How can i upgrade my Laptop so it can run my favorite games? Doom 3 lags on it. It has a NVIDIA GeForce 7150M g card. Shudnt that be enough to play Doom 3?

There is currently no way to replace a Laptop graphics card. You are stuck with whatever it came with. I looked into this to upgrade my Laptop’s integrated card and was disappointed to learn this.

The most you can do is upgrade RAM or hard drive on a Laptop. Because the video chip is soldered right to the motherboard it can’t be replaced.

It is nearly impossible to upgrade video cards on Laptops. You may get a speed increase by running the program under an emulator like Wine on Linux. It can run things faster than Windows.
