VIA Technologies Sound Problem Related to Microsoft missing drivers (WDM)

Apparently, VIA drivers only pass along midi and wav files to windows. My Via drivers are fine but am missing some windows drivers. Any suggestions?

I am planning on upgrading my computer’s power supply from it’s current 300 watts to 500 watts. I understand that it needs to match up with my mother board’s specifications, but is there anything else I need to change.

Is there a way to go beyond the maximum RAM on a Laptop? Will a bios upgrade allow for this? Thanks for any answers.

I have a ASUS Notebook F3Ke and i wondering if its possible to upgrade my Laptop with a new graphics card or processor? Mainly to play games.
Ive heard people say that you can’t, and im guessing their saying that cause the card might be too big to fit in a Laptop. I don’t really care if my Laptops like half open and has some stuff sticking out lol… cause i don’t really ever use it as a Laptop…im just wondering is it possible in anyway to upgrade my Laptop?

I would appreciate any instructions or links with specific instructions..maybe even pictures etc..

Any precautions I should take regarding “grounding” etc..

hey little help please i’m stuck,i want a job in computing and need to go to university to do that but i don’t know what i should take in sixth form to carry on to uni. and i cant find any information anywhere. i no already that i obviously need to do computing so that is one. i need 2-3 more subjects, I’m pretty good at maths and physics, B’s in both. any one got ideas?

According to their website, a FreeAgent drive should not need additional drivers for any OS, so they don’t offer one for download. However, when I tried plugging it into my computer running Windows 98, it was unable to locate the driver.

im just kind of paranoid i need a picture to post but i dont want to be missing anything… i know this probably sounds stupid but i just want to make sure.

I have a Dell Windows XP computer and it’s really slow. There’s no viruses on it and we just got it cleaned. I’d like to change it to a Windows Vista, but I can’t buy a new computer. Can I upgrade it somehow? Can I buy I disk, or something?
