What is the best way to upgrade my laptop?

Laptop_upgrade6.jpg”>Laptop_upgrade6.jpg” title=’Laptop upgrade’ alt=’Laptop upgrade’ />

I have a Dell inspiron 1525 with the integrated graphics card. I know i probably need an external adapter to upgrade the graphics card but wasn’t sure if they made one for vista with this model Laptop. Any suggestions for upgrading my graphics would be greatly appreciated. I am usually very good with computers so feel free to use terminology usually reserved for those who aren’t as advanced in this field. If other specs are needed on this situation please let me know and i will update as needed or e-mail me and i can give better details.

RAM is almost always the simplest and best upgrade you can do for any computer.

Hi. The only practical way I know of is to max out the RAM.

Theh 1525 is one of the few that you can upgrade the CPU.

And RAM from Dell is cheap now. I got 2 gb stick for $37 and overnight delivery for free.

    But as for graphics……

You can SOMETIMES upgrade a Laptop’s graphics card, it’s very rare, I would recommend upgrading RAM, most likely your problem, as for an external enclosure for a graphics card, it would be as slow as the connection you use (USB or such) and would probably work about as well as a 98 computer. Simplest way to upgrade a Laptop in today’s market, just buy a new one.
