I recently bought Microsoft LifeCam VX-500 for my desktop. Its usually plug & play for Windows XP/Vista but it prompts for installation drivers for windows 2000 SP4. Can someone share the drivers for Win2000? There is no installation CD with the camera.

I have two Laptops. Laptop A is my home Laptop that is in some Home workspace. Another Laptop B is my work Laptop that is my corporate domain. When I bring Laptop B to home – there is no domain controller. So when I’m trying to access B from A it says that you can’t do that since there is no domain controller. I just want to share a printer that is connected to B. Is there a way to still doing that?

I recently upgraded my computer from a windows xp to a windows 7 and I had to do a custom install which erased everything, now I only have the option of color up to 16 bits though previously I had 32 . Would just a better graphics driver help or maybe a BIOS flash I don’t know. How do I make my color at least 32 bit again?

The computer I use is 5 years old… It’s 256MB of RAM and 1.80GHz… Should I upgrade the memory, etc or just get a completely new computer…? What upgrades should I get if I do decide to do that and where do they sell the little extras that go in your computer??

Actually I want to use applications at my Laptop, whereby, I want to use the additional processing power of my home computer. The two machines are connected using cross-over cable, or if required, I can use a hub or switch. So, please can any one tell me if I can use grid computing or parallel computing or any thing else to achieve this goal? And how and what can I do? Thanks for your kind efforts and cooperation.

“Setup cannot continue because one or more of the required installation files are missing or damaged. Run setup again from the software CD-ROM or another reliable installation source.
It’s a regular xbox 360 controller, and I do not have a cd-rom for it. I also tried using XBCD and googled this problem for a while now, so if anyone can help me out (i’m trying to use it for project 64) then it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
