I have an advent Notebook / Laptop and it’s on windows vista home premium. It’s been really slow and not responding for ages and i was wondering if you know the steps to restore my factory settings without a disk, like when you start up the Laptop it would come up with system restore (recommended) or something like that, and when you click on it it would have 4 options to choose from. I have done this before but i have no idea how i did it. So please could you guide me through the steps of doing system restore please. ASAP. Thankss.

Hi, I have a tv without a vga cable. I would like to connect my Laptop to it so that I may extend my desktop. So to do this i bought a scart to vga cable. I connected them together and my Laptop detected it fine. However, the picture will not display on my tv. Instead there is just lines across my tv. Can anyone help?
