I have windows vista and I am trying to install an older version of xp which is 2002 but for some reason it says “Setup cannot continue because the version of Windows on your computer is newer than the version on the CD.

Warning: If you decide to delete the newer version of Windows that is currently installed on your computer, the files and settings cannot be recovered.”

but there is nothing that says continue ,or to proceed with the action that i have chosen, so what do i do?

I bought a syba 3 port firewire PCI card. It came with a CD but the CD didn’t have drivers. The instructions said to use the native windows XP driver. I didn’t have my XP pro install disk so I borrowed my sister’s XP home disk. Now I’m stuck.

I have a vx6000 microsoft lifecam webcam. I installed all the software and that’s working on my windows XP service pack 2. But when I plug in the webcam it displays the error message ‘there is no camera connected to this computer’. So I went on device manager and it had a yellow question mark displayed with an exclamation mark over the top, with USB20 camera. I tried to update the driver but it says I need an installation disk which I don’t have and the message appears as follow ‘The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)’. Does anyone know what this means and what I have to do to get the webcam to work? Is there some other way to update the driver?

can anyone help me out on finding microsoft livecam vx/500 drivers for vista 32bit

I’ve been experiencing computer lock ups and crashes for the past few weeks now, and I figured it was driver related. I installed nvidia’s newest drivers for my 9800 GX2, and now Windows will not boot with the drivers installed. I have to boot the computer in safe mode, uninstall the drivers, then reboot to get into Windows. Changing the drivers doesn’t help – the newest beta drivers have the same problem. I even reformatted, still having the same issue.

Any suggestions?

The USB end of it into the USB port on my Laptop. But as soon as I do that the green light does not come on the Wireless Gaming Receiver why is that?
