I’m really interested in computing but the maths side of things puts me off a bit. Just wondering if there are any degree courses that perhaps focus more on utilisation rather than the maths side of things. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I will be starting college tomorrow but I don’t have a Laptop or voice recorder yet. If I need to take notes, I will have to do it, the old fashioned way by pencil and paper. Hopefully sometime later, I will get a Laptop and voice recorder, but I’m just wondering if people use their Laptop and voice recorder a lot in college.

I’ve just graduated with a BSc Computing, calss 2:1 and have no idea what my expected salary should be.
I don’t want to end up getting paid less than I’m worth, and i don’t want to be too pushy and say something ridiculously high.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks
