I just bought a new computer and I want to be able to print wirelessly to a printer that is attached to my old computer. The problem is that the old computer has XP and my new one has Vista. I need the Windows Vista driver for the old computer. The model is HP Color LaserJet 2600n. Can someone please tell me how to download and install the Vista driver. If you don’t have to tell me how to install it, please just tell me where to find it.

I have Windows Vista Ultimate. When I try to install diver for printer, in the middle it asks me to connect usb cable. As soon as I connect it, windows trys to install driver itself even another installment taking place for the printer and says installment was not sucessful.

The same thing happens always when I connect a new device with PC. Windows searchs for driver and says driver not found even driver cd in drive.

I have looked everywhere but i can’t find a driver download for windows vista.

My hp deskjet D1470 does not work with window 7. I have tried to un-install and download the driver software but it will not install.So does anybody know of a new printer that will work with windows 7?

I have a micradigital WLAN and Lexmark X5470 printer. Can I use the router as a printer server to get wireless print network. I do not want to use additional printer server. I wouldlbe grateful if any one can give me a solution. Thanks

I have an older computer and want to know if I can connect a usb printer.

I have a newer printer that’s only got a usb connector. My slightly older wireless router has a print server and a parallel port. Ideally I’d like to have the printer available to any computer connecting to the network without having to use print sharing via a one computer that is always on.

I don’t think this is possible though since I can’t find a connector that goes from a male usb to a parallel port. They seem to go the other way around.

I tried, then I get this msg. “Couldn’t start the print spooler on local computer. Error:1068: the dependency Service or group failed to start”.

My Dell 922 printer appears to be installed, but I cannot get it to work. It is not visiable in the panel control/printer section. It is listed as working under hardware in image devices. The icon in tool bar indicates no connection when i try to start it. I have XP with upgrade to sp3.

I was working fiine on Win-98. When I upgraded to Win XP, in black print of text, I get a shadow line by the side of each alphabet. The original supplied driver of deskjet (HP) 640C is not compatible with Win XP so I use the driver that comes with Win XP .
