I have a Nintendo Wii and a wireless internet access point to connect it to. However, my Wii is too far from the access point to connect to it. Will a Wi-Fi USB connector for Wii/DS help my Wii connect to the internet without moving it closer to the access point?
What strategy games would run fine on this configuration?I like turn based strategy games. Will i be able to play Heroes of Might and Magic on this configuration?
Here’s the NEED to know:
- I have a PS2 slim (with all the standard cables)
- HP Pavilion PC with WIndows Vista
- PC has all connections for audio/video (red, white, yellow)
- PC also has Windows Media Center
- HP Monitor with VGA and DVI port (VGA is connected to PC)
I only have one tv in the house but I’m not allowed to use it for video games so that leaves me with my PC and the monitor that came with it. Does anyone have any idea how I could connect my PS2 slim to my PC so that I can view it from there? I’ve looked up a lot of forums with similar or close enough questions where no one could answer it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi,
I have a dell xps m1530 Laptop. I have recently wiped vista off it and installed windows xp on it. I play games on it such as worms mayhem, pro evo 2008 and call of duty 4 without any problems. However, I have just installed Crysis on it. When playing the game, the trees and other environmental features in the game are sort-of “semi-invisible” aswell as my hand and gun. Also the water doesnt look like water, it looks just like a brown flat sheet. Overall, the in-game graphics is really messed-up.
Because I am running Win XP on this machine (this machine was shipped with vista and dell dont offer win xp drivers), I have had to install all custom drivers which I got off the internet. These drivers included the graphics drivers which are ‘Forceware’ drivers.
However, I dont see how this could be my problem as all the other games that I run on the system run perfectly ok.
Has anyone experienced this? and can anyone help me with this problem?
Thanks,
Dan.

I recently bought battlefield 2 and i installed it on my uncles windows xp. the installation went fine, he has the right specs, but when i double click on the battlefield 2 icon the window thing that says “battlefield 2″ pops up, it stays there for a while and then it dissapears, then the screen goes black as if the game were starting up, but then the screen goes back to my desktop and nothing happens. i have tried this with every disk….
if you can help, that would be great,
thanks in advance,
james
I’am Not a Robot, maybe i wasn’t clear enough, HE HAS THE GOOD SPECS, I’m not mad or anything, just read the question slightly better next time, i checked everything before i installed and after i found the problem, i dont head straight to yahoo once i cant figure something out
I tried playing Diablo 1 on my HP Media Center PC a1595d (running Win XP), but it always freezes in the mid of the game and out came the blue screen (driver_IRQL_Not_less_or_equal), and I had to force switch off the PC, and when i restarted it, there’s this message :
A bit of background : One year back this too happened and HP people claimed the motherboard’s spoilt, and changed it, but it happened again this year, I seeked the services of a PC tech, and he claims it’s a graphic card add on problem, and removed it, for a while it works fine, till it happens again.
So can’t diablo 1 be played on Win XP? Or I need to fine tune some system stuff to fit it in properly? Thanks!
