It is an HP dv6000 series. I already checked the HP support site, but they don’t offer any Windows XP drivers for things like wireless and sound. I know all the components should work with Windows XP.

My work members all have their own user accounts on our one computer but I want to know how I can add an extra password or a long sequence of words to my account. So If someone does get into my account with my password somehow it will come up with a new thing asking them for further password/sequence of words.
Is this possible on XP windows ??????
Any other security I can add to our precious work computer????

I don’t really care much for Vista, so I’d like to replace it on this Laptop with Windows XP Pro. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to find the drivers using Yahoo, Google, or DriverGuide.

I purchased the product at Walmart, but Ineed the drivers -I am on vacation and don’t have the CD - thought since it was USB XP would recognize the camera. Any assistance would be appreciated -I used the link for the question regarding the manual and submitted a question to their site.

I have installed a 64bit XP on my Gateway mx3414 Notebook but cannot find compatable drivers. I can find them for the 64bit vista but not the XP. I tried the ones available for xp on the Gateway site for my system even though they don’t specify 32 or 64 bit and they failed to install with a message implying that they may not support a 64bit OS.
Any Ideas?

Alright…so I get hl2, and it doesn’t work. I know it’s a driver problem, but I’m not going to go into that…anyways, in frustration, I used a registry cleaner, but it ****ed everything up. Now I’m missing over 40 WINDOWS drivers. Not just normal ones. Ok, so I *acquired* an xp disc, but I am wondering if anyone had any easy solution to overwrite all of my previous drivers. Does anyone know a way?

I have Windows Vista “Home Basic” installed on this computer, but I really need to change to XP as soon as possible. Please help me with some links or if somebody has the drivers, let me know.
