Wind XP Pro Samsung PC My friend’s PC just crashed and he had no startup disc made beforehand.

Does anybody have info on what to do or stop a computer with Windows XP to stop crashing do to Restore Points
Thankyou for responding. Why I am going to this forum for help is beacuse bazar things happen. I own a gatway Laptop about a year old. I have robot and shutdown probloms , Ive cleaned out my pc but it always happen. My drives uninstall like My sound and it seems to never end.I am near my end with this Laptop if it doesnt get better

I just installed windows XP home, and it crashes or locks up when I turn on automatic updates.

My windows XP computer crashes all the time. Yet when I got to my dad’s computer (vista) it never crashes! And he has alot space taken up on his than mine! Also my neighbors Vista computer didnt crash when I was on it alot yesterday. Don’t understand why XP is supposedly “oh so much better than Vista”?
Yea…i guess i could say my computer sucks, it sucks ice. extremely. its a Dell Inspiron E1505 and it sucks because i’m too young for a nice thing. and when i say crash this is what i mean:

my computer keeps crashing whenever i use internet explorer, firefox. also in games too. i play nba live 08 and oblivion etc. i get this stupid send/dont send pop-up then the program crashes. a few mins in youtube then boom, crash. its kinda irritating, so does anbody know how to disable the error window thing so i can continue with what im doing even if something in the program fails? i hope thats possible. im using windows xp with 2 gig ram, an 80 gig hard drive and a 40 gig hd. geforce 7300 agp. two power supplies cuz the geforce eats up a lot of power. any solutions? thanks
