I recently installed Windows 7 on my HP Media Center PC m1160n and I can’t connect to the internet. does anyone know where I could find an ethernet driver?

I recently got a Laptop from my parents friend who gave it away, but I just found out that the Windows xp that is on it, was a pirated copy. Therefore I cannot update my computer and I cannot even hear any audio anymore, My Laptop didn’t come with any cds or instructions. So is there any way to reinstal another form of windows that is legal? Thanks.

I want to connect my Laptop to the tv. I need specific instructions on how to configure my Laptop. I have an s video cable, and my Laptop is a HP Pavilion with Windows XP. I am using a 4 pin S Video cable. The Laptop has a 7 pin S Video jack. Does that affect it?

I have had my Laptop for a couple of weeks and due to being uncareful my sister scratched my Laptop screen! And it’s not a minor scratch it is a deep scratch that you can feel. So i was just wondering if anyone out there knew how to fix a severly scratched Laptop screen, either by home remedies or buying products or sending it to the shop, anything will help! Please respond!
P.S- My Laptop is a dv6000 hp pavilion with an HD screen.

I’m looking for a Laptop to buy & one criteria I have is that I want most of the parts to be replaceable if I feel like changing some parts a few months after I bought it. I heard of brands like Hp, Dell & Acer but no idea whether the parts are replaceable or not. So what Laptop brand has the most replaceable parts?

I was wondering what is the best CPU I can upgrade my Laptop to. It is a HP Compaq nx6325. I think it is the TL-64, but i’m not sure if it is compatible. I have a Turion X2 TL-52 in it right now.

Can someone please tell me how to get the sound back on my computer. It worked fine before the upgrade. I have an HP Intel Laptop and I am not computer literate at all; so can someone please give me simple directions. It says no audio output device installed. Thanks in advance!

I’m thinking of buying an HP dv7-2043cl computer. It comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 (2.0GHz) processor, and I want to upgrade it to at least a P8600 (2.4GHz) processor. How much would that cost, and how much would a computer technician charge me for that?

Hi, I’m currently running Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and I need a driver to install a Compaq inkjet IJ1200 printer. This thing is so old that there is no driver past windows 2000 on hp/compaq’s website. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

What is the best way to upgrade my Laptop? I have an HP G60 with 3GB of RAM, 160GB of hard drive, 32-bit OS, and AMD Sempron processor. I’m running Windows Vista Home with SP2 as well. Should I upgrade RAM, or what…? I’m not too tech-savvy, so I’m not sure (like is it even possible to change your processor?).
