I have an ati x1600 graphics card which I would like to use with Windows 7 x64, however the only supported driver for this would be under Vista (as I saw on ati’s website). It said that i would have to install the driver under windows vista compatibility mode, how do i do that?

I just bought a new computer and I want to be able to print wirelessly to a printer that is attached to my old computer. The problem is that the old computer has XP and my new one has Vista. I need the Windows Vista driver for the old computer. The model is HP Color LaserJet 2600n. Can someone please tell me how to download and install the Vista driver. If you don’t have to tell me how to install it, please just tell me where to find it.

Ive seen several conflicting answers on this subject and am hoping for the definitive answer on this one
Im currently running Windows XP and want to change to Win 7. I have a disk which says Windows 7 upgrade (designed for vista)…Now can I use this to perform a clean install of Windows 7? – Apparently I should be able to do this choosing a ‘custom installation’ option during the setup? – (according to some mags and answers Ive read so far.) and it will prompt you to do a clean install.
I know I will lose all my files and such, but what I want to know is can I use the disk I have to install windows 7?
many thanks

I bought windows Xp Profession and i want to do a clean installation over windows Home or a system format using the pro disc if possible.
I was wondering when i stick in the disc (boot with disc) it asks me where i want to install the Win Xp Professional … “C:” or “I:” and im not sure where the right spot is.
Thanks for the help =)
