Hi I need to find a free drivier download for RTL8187_Wireless on Windows XP. My harddrive crashed and I lost all my drivers. I went to the Gateway computer website and was able to restore most of them, except for RTL8187_Wireless for XP. They have the driver for Windows Vista, but I need it for XP. Any information would be helpful, Thanks.

Hi, is it possible to get the original install disk for Win XP Media Center 2005 and upgrade it from Win XP Home? I don’t wanna do a clean install since I have a lot of stuff on my comp that I can’t afford to lose. And yes, I have an original product key, its printed on my tower but I lost the media center disk and was forced to install XP Home.

The HP computer won’t start and when it boots it says that some of the required files may be corrupt. My guess is, if I had my Windows XP install disks it would boot up and reload what it needs. I don’t have my Windows XP disk anymore.

Does anyone know how or where I can get a restore CD to reinstall Windows? I have the product key for the original version of Windows XP that came installed on my computer.
The computer is an e-Machines desktop purchased several years ago. I have lost the Windows restore CD that came with it originally. The computer won’t boot due to a missing OS file so I can’t do anything with it. Its really messed up so I just simply want to restore is fresh and dont care about deleting all existing stuff on it.

I have recently noticed that when I open “my computer” on Win XP SP3. I have under “folders on this computer” 3 of the 4 users + shared documents on there but not the fourth user. They are a limited user and I am an administrator.
I can see the other administrators folder +mine + 1 limited users file.
Any help appreciated..
