I have a trial version of an Antivirus on my computer, that came with it, since it’s new. It runs out very soon, but I don’t like it. How can i safely and completely remove this Antivirus, and completely install a new one to protect my computer?

P.S. this antivirus shuts off my firewall and all that, because it has its own, when i remove this AV will i be able to turn it back on, or do most AV’s come with their own firewall

HP is sending me my windows 7 upgrade disk. I was wondering if I have to use the disk on my new computer or if I could use it to upgrade any computer.

I own an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+. I want to see my computer go faster. What can I do to upgrade this instead of buying a whole new computer.
I play online games. Some offline.

The computer I use is 5 years old… It’s 256MB of RAM and 1.80GHz… Should I upgrade the memory, etc or just get a completely new computer…? What upgrades should I get if I do decide to do that and where do they sell the little extras that go in your computer??

I don’t have the skills or time necessary to upgrade a computer. But when do you know that’s it’s time to upgrade aka buy a new one? How do you avoid trends or splurging on unneeded items? Is there a season where it’s best to buy one?

I have a new Laptop with a broken screen, and I have an old Laptop that is terribly slow but the screen works. Is it possible to take my new Laptop and put all of the hardware into the old Laptop so I can use that screen? I can’t return my Laptop and I don’t want to use an external monitor. Thanks.

I just bought a new computer and I want to be able to print wirelessly to a printer that is attached to my old computer. The problem is that the old computer has XP and my new one has Vista. I need the Windows Vista driver for the old computer. The model is HP Color LaserJet 2600n. Can someone please tell me how to download and install the Vista driver. If you don’t have to tell me how to install it, please just tell me where to find it.

i have a dell latitude c640 im about to go to college soon and i was wandering if i should upgrade this computer or just buy a new one? if i should upgrade it what should i get? i want a bigger hard drive this one only has 20gb. i need reasons to do either one so a simple answer isn’t going to help much.

I have an intel pentium 4 2.40 ghz computer. It has 1 gig of ram and a 6200 Geforce Video card. Should i upgrade it, stick with it, or just buy a new computer that has vista etc.
I bought this in 2002 so thats how old everything else is besides vid card and ram
