My Sony VAIO Laptop has an hdmi output, I have the cable, and plug it into the comcast cable box hdmi port. However, I still can’t seem to get my Laptop screen to display on my tv. How do I do this?

I have purchased a microsoft 2007 home and student edition and an external DVD Drive. I now need to install the microsoft edition on my new vaio w netbook. Can anyone please advise me how I can do it? The vaio runs on operating system windows xp home edition 32 bit with SP3

i currently have sony vgn-fz18m Laptop with nvidia geforce 8400m graphics card – i would like to upgrade to a much better one to play games? is this possible? thanks. appreciate any advice

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and I recently switched from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7. My Laptop can connect to the network and it even says it has internet access sometimes but whenever I try to go on the internet, it doesn’t work. It’s so frustrating!
How would you find an MS networking file???

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD150 and I want to connect a usb cable to my Laptop but I’m not sure if that type of camera will allow me to do that..

I tried hooking it up to my tower(which is a Sony Vaio and has a DVI input on the back) but I didn’t see anything on my screen. I unhooked the DVI and hooked it up with the analog and now it works. I have a nVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 video card and I just updated the driver and tried using the DVI but it still wouldn’t work!!! How much of a difference would using a DVI instead of analog make? Also,my monitor says the best resolution is 1680×1050 but when I go into Display Properties and then Settings,it jumps from 1600×900 to 1600×1024 to 1600×1200 to 1920×1080 to 1920×1200 to 1920×1440 to 2048×1536. No 1680×1050 in sight!!! Oh,this is all on Windows XP.

On the Sony support site http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNFZ210CE drivers are listed only for Windows Vista and not for Win XP. Is it possible to load Win XP if yes then where can I download the drivers and what are the things I need to do.. Please let me know..

So I have this model of cell phone and I bought the USB cord. I had two drivers downloaded (I been told it requires several drivers in order to work properly). I went through the installation process but it seems that one of the drivers was not working. When I plug the phone with the USB cable, it says that the device connected is unknown to the computer. Can someone tell me where to download valid drivers from, and how to install them? I’d appreciate any assistance! Thanks a bunch!

resetting it, this didn’t work, what else can I do?

I have loaded the drivers and upgraded to vista as it suggests. I connect the camera via USB, turn it on and nothing. I have even unplugged all other USB connections as the online manual suggests but still nothing. Am I being thick or is this a problem. Please help
