Hi.. friends

i have a lenovo t60 Laptop .it came with xp sp2 and think vantage acess ..now i want to upgrade to windows 7..and i want my think vantage button to work i need every option in as i used to use in xp..is their any chance to upgrade to win 7 from xp..i have tryed in online but there is some option for vista but not for xp ..can any one help me out plz

Is it possible to install MS-SQL Server 7 in Win XP Professional sp2?
Can i install MS-Sql server7 in a desktop computer running Microsoft Windows XP Professional service pack2 itself, without have to installing any other OS like Win98,Win 2K.
I tried to install it but when I click Desktop Server version nothing happens, though it does not give any error…
I have IE 6 version installed but I use Firefox2.Also I dont have any other OS installed.I just want to install it in XP.
Can anyone help me please?
I am using my own home computer and logged in always as a Admin user account.So no question of not having admin rights…No I havent stopped my virus scanner …that might be risky…

Can I upgrade from Windows 98 to Win XP professional w/ SP2? Is there a way to do it so I don’t have to reinstall all my drivers and software again? What is the process?

i am having this problem for a long time, thats why i quited yahoo messenger, but now i have to use it. so here is the problem. i download the messenger from yahoo messenger site. install it. then when i click on the shortcut, nothing happens. i open the task bar, i see that the moment i clicked on the program file, the cpu usage goes up to 100% but then instantly decreases to normal level, but the program doesn’t start, and YahooMessenger.exe is not listed in the running programs. i tried to install-unistall the program couple of times, i tried versions 6-7-8. i even reformatted my harddrive and installed windows again. but nothing worked. I use a Dell 700m Laptop, Win XP Pro SP2 operating system. all the help is appreciated.

Every time i power on my desktop my floppy & DVD rom is not detected. in device manager a question mark is shown in floppy and DVD Drive with error code 32…i tried to edit the registry but no use.my dvd rom is-sony crx301ee and os is win xp sp2.. plz hlp

Im work’n on win xp sp2 and installed photoshop CS but there’s a problem with the keyboard shortcuts it doesnt work at all even ctrl+n for new or anything else I looked at the edit } keyboard shortcuts and I found everything optimized as well as it should be but still the prob. as if the keyboard is not connected with the photoshop!!

A computer is running on Win XP Pro SP2. I want to hide drive D: & G: from the users.
It should be visible only when i log in as the administrator. Otherwise, it must be hidden and cannot be viewed by the user.
The user account will be “Limited” account.
