Can any one please guide me steps by steps the way,how to install windows Vista and Xp (two operating systems) on single pc.I know how to install xp but i have never installed Vista ? Currently i am having Win Xp installed in my system so please guide me how to install Vista.

i was messing around with compatability mode in windows xp, one thing i tried was to download slayerui.dll and register it. then i discovered this was only for windows 2k so i unregistered it. now i have no compatibility mode at all, how do i get it back in win xp?

What i am trying to do though is that i have a computer that has Windows 2000 on it and i want to upgrade it to Windows XP.
The only Problem is that i have a UPGRADE CD from WINDOWS ME!
and i dont have Windows ME i have Windows 2000, So what what i was wondering if that i got me a Windows ME installation CD for to install on my other computer so that i can Upgrade to Win. XP – But when i tried to just see if it would install on the Win. 2000 (TO INSTALL XP NOT WIN ME TO SEE IF IT WOULD WORK)- Didnt work though –
I know that Windows ME is older then Windows XP and i am afraid that since Win. Me is older then Win.2000 that it wont install –
So what do i need to install Win. ME to install a Upgrade to Win. XP !!

I’ve been running XP for about 2 years now, but I have to fdisk and format, but I have no other windows software except for win95 and an winxp upgrade version.
well say i have windows 98 se and i wanted windows xp and i didnt have the upgrade disk can i just make a backup in xp and format 98 so that i can upgrade it?
